On 2105-07-17 our claims plugin crashed leaving all land as unclaimed for a short time. Some players took advantage of claims glitch to loot and grief their neighbors.
As you know unclaimed land is fair game, however exploiting a glitch is cause for disciplinary action.

Since we have a bit of a grey area in how the two rules are interpreted I have decided to side on leniency.

If you looted or griefed during the claims outage you must make restitution by 2015-07-24 or face being banned.

Players that griefed or looted a shop have already been banned, there is no plausible deniability that players looting shops did not know they were breaking Pearl rules!

If you were looted or griefed and restitution has not been made please make a PE where the action occurred. It would be better if you ceased any actions in that location until staff can investigate.

 

Yes please do make as many PE as are needed.

 

just like to say at market the leaf wall that goes around it has a few holes in it idk who did it but theres 2 holes on the right side when you go to warp market probably around where primaxed shop is

 

This is just SAD, Players know better than to exploit a server error, and if they KNOW and do it anyway, They deserve punishment.

I don't see how any of the players that exploited this should be allowed to continue on Pearl.

So if you were a participant, I'd look at taking care of your misdeeds as quickly as possible.

 

also found this the front of the bank is missing a block just to help ya out and it is a real shame that people would take advantage of this i agree with dim

 

thats a real shame they will probably get banned for it

cant believe they just went after your shop and not mine or any other persons but at least it didn't happen to multiple shops then would have caused more havoc so luckily not to many shops where harmed.

 

I didn't even think to check my shop. Some of my enchanted book chests are missing. I don't know if any books from the other chests were taken as they could have been purchased while I was offline. :/
This is why I've been giving so many warnings lately about trust. Also the reason why I've been trying to spend more time with players who really want to be good and learn how to survive the way survival was meant to be here at Pearl.
So sorry to all who were griefed. It doesn't feel very good.
